I am a claimant of the MoneyGram Remission case settled by the US Department of Justice. Petitioners were supposed to be reimbursed their losses for the transactions, in 2022; Gilardi, LLC stated they would get their Remission sometime in 2022.I submitted my petition to be reimbursed the money I lost, over $700, on the electronic form provided. The form initially didnt say to exclude the taxes and fees, so I included from my MoneyGram provided receipts, the total amount, along with the required tracking numbers for review. They have even verified the information I submitted against the MoneyGram database for that period and stated the tracking numbers totaled $738.Somehow, the petition was supposedly submitted twice, I found out October 28, 2022 in a letter stating they were denying and rejecting my claim petition and I, and I assume other claimants, would have to Request for Consideration, an appeal of sorts, to beg for their legitimate petition amount to be reimbursed, even though it is clearly their mistake. By the way, the websites functionality is questionable, I tried to submit their version of an appeal to their rejecting my petition and I couldnt fit the provided claimID numbers in the provided data field box, and I tried several times in many different ways.The customer service agent for the case, provided for petiioners to get updates or information, they didnt even know what that reasoning for petition denial was, and could find no notes stating as to who made the decision, why or any follow up work done for correction attempts.I, we victims have waited years before the Department of Justice settled the case with MoneyGram so we could receive our due compensation for being scammed by international fraudsters. Now it seems the Administrators for the case, have decided to make us work more for our rightful money back while victimizing us all over again and making us wait longer.I believe, they must be billing our government by the hour or they must get a piece of the settlement dollars leftover from the petitioners rejected and denied erroneously because this is not how you administrate and I know since I have spent my adult life in the profession of Admistrative Support, Customer Service, Financial Analyst, and Claim Processor. The job is to get it done right the first time.
I helped an elderly woman submit a claim for the Moneygram remission. By chance I looked on their website and saw that a letter was mailed out on October 28th. It was never received so we tried calling them. It is very unclear how to get ahold of a live agent on their helpline. You have to press 19# to hear the how can I get more information and then you can press nine to speak with an agent.When I finally spoke to them , they could not tell me the contents of the letter. So I asked them to escalate my case and they said they would get back to me. At least their was not a very long wait time and the agent was relatively patient and tried to be helpful.I also contacted them by email and their replies were quite useless. But when I explicitly asked them to escalate my email they escalated it. I am now hoping to get a response before the reply deadline passes.BTW when accessing your claim through their website only use the actual 9 digit claim number not the letters that proceed the number and not the -0 at the end.
I have been trying for over 4 years, to get a check re-issued in my name. The original check from Western Union was in my husband’s name. He has been deceased for over 6 years. I am 96 years old & have been living in a nursing home for over 4 years. I have submitted multiple documents at their request. Never received any feedback; just last month received a request for new information. Incompetence on their part would be a welcomed improvement
This firm handled the Facebook Biometric Class action lawsuit. Completely mismanaged and incompetent staff and execution of the lawsuit. Claim was denied multiple times for no reason and when it was finally accepted they mailed it to the wrong address. Spent hours of time and energy dealing with their incompetent staff, to no fault of their own, but from the mismanagement of the case leaded by Gilardi & Co
Allen Stanford ruined 50% of our lives, Gilardi and Co is ruining the remaining 50% ... Almost 2 years waiting for the 9th distribution to be wired, they dont answer calls, they dont answer emails, I cant stand this situation anymore. If I kill myself I want to let you all know that it was because I couldnt stand the amount of stress Gilardi and Co put on me acting like a ghost, they just disappear with our money.
I have been waiting for them to re-issue a check from the lawsuit with a mortgage fraud that was won. They totally ignore my letters and Emails. They have sent two letters saying The exact same thing in each letter ...they needed more information that they are so busy they dont know what Im talking about I have sent them all the information that I have every time Ive sent them a letter or an email
I didnt have no face to face experience with these people they handled a settlement payout I myself had no problem I hear a few others did as far as how long some things took or still waiting hope things work out for everyone God bless
Refuses to answer or return phone calls in reference to class action settlement, Western Union remission. I have spoken to administrators, & they have NO information to give, like NONE! I’ve googled quite a few times and noticed, I’m not the only one. In all actuality, I literally haven’t found one review that says that they DID receive a payment. Who else thinks that we should contact the FTC?
As an AIG common stock holder since 2008, I received a letter from Gilardi & Co, LLC with the court ordered opportunity to participate in the AIG 2008 Securities Settlement as long as I reply with proof postmarked May 5, 2015.Yet I did not receive Gilardis letter until May 29th, too late to submit a claim!
Sends out a check for Toyota recall and I get it now and cash it and they closed the account, and made it where for a 29.00 check I got charged 12.00 now tells me to bad......... not a good way to do business. I thought about blaming Toyota but it is not them it is this company I dont know how long this check sat on someones desk but this is not my fault if I get a check and then cash it it should not cost me.... I will be emailing Toyota and others and make this company known that they are a fake of a company
The business didnt publish their new address. They are definitely not at this location. It is now a homeless shelter.
Not sure what is going on with this law firm. They dont answer emails nor answer to phone calls regarding moneygramremission refunds. Very pathetic. Very lousy people. Very irresponsible behavior.
Impossible to contact. No email. Moneygram number will not let you hit zero to speak with someone
